Yes!
There are two types of text messages:
- SMS messages can only include plain text.
- MMS, which includes images in addition to plain text in the messages.
Brokerkit supports both SMS and MMS messaging for your initial and follow-up text messages.
Images
To send an image, attach the image from the Brokerkit text message editor screen, and it will send the text message with the image as an MMS message.
Note that when you get a text reply forwarded to your phone, you can also reply with text and images from your phone. This will be forwarded as an MMS message to the recipient via Brokerkit.
Videos
SMS messages are text-based and don't allow HTML, so videos can't be embedded in a text, but you can text a hyperlink to them.
You can record or upload externally produced videos into the Brokerkit video library and then add links to those videos into your text to send.
Scheduling a text
When you send images or videos, you can schedule you texts, so they will be sent whenever it is convenient for you. To do it, simply click on clock icon next to Send Text Message button and select the option that best suits for you.
For the first four options, the text will be sent according to the time zone that is saved in your settings; if you select Custom option, you can select date, time and time zone.
How to cancel a scheduled text
Scheduling a text via the contact profile, you can cancel the delivery before it is sent. To do that, follow these steps:
- Open contact profile from where you want to delete the scheduled message
- In the Activity timeline under the ALL tab or TEXT tab find the scheduled text
- In the right of the event log. Click on the Trash icon
- Confirm you want to delete it
- The event log will then show that the Scheduled text was deleted
