How recipients can unsubscribe to bulk and campaign emails
If recipients of mass emails or smart campaigns wish to unsubscribe from any of Brokerkit’s email communication, the recipient clicks on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.
Things to note:
- The unsubscribe link will only appear in emails sent via bulk email or smart campaigns.
- Emails sent to a lead or team member via the contact profile are sent directly through your Google or Microsoft account, and an unsubscribe link will not be appended.
- When a recipient unsubscribes from your emails, they are automatically added to a suppression list and will no longer receive your emails, even if they are included in future bulk emails or smart campaigns and not manually excluded.
- An unsubscribe will only suppress emails to the contact from the email-sending domain from which the email was sent. If you have multiple sending domains (at Account Settings>Email), unsubscribing to one will not apply to the other domains.
- Your agents in retention can also unsubscribe from your email.
- A good practice to keep your roster clean is to archive the contacts who unsubscribed from your Emails. Regularly cleaning your contact lists — even though unsubscribed contacts are suppressed — helps improve your overall email deliverability and prevents failed email attempts. Keeping your lists up to date ensures a more efficient and effective outreach.
- In cases where recipients like your agents accidentally click on “UNSUBSCRIBE” and want to receive messages again, don't hesitate to contact support@getbrokerkit.com. We can manually remove their email address from the suppression list.
