How to create a Job for Job Posting
Welcome to Brokerkit Jobs feature!
1. Intro
This powerful tool helps you attract inbound recruiting leads by creating professional job postings with a shareable link. When candidates apply through your job posting link, they automatically flow into BrokerKit as new leads, ready for all your recruiting needscomplete with their application details, resumes, and contact information.
2. Today Page
Let's walk through how to create your first job posting from start to finish. To get started, from your Today page
3. Select Lead Generation
locate Lead Gen in your left navigation menu.
4. Access Jobs Section
Select Jobs. This will take you to your Jobs dashboard where you can manage all your job postings.
5. Initiate New Job Posting
From your Jobs dashboard, click the Add Job button at the top of the page to start creating a new job posting.
6. Enter Job Title
Enter a clear, descriptive title for your position, like 'Real Estate Agent' or 'Licensed Agent - San Francisco Office
7. Open Job Type Dropdown
Specify the job type for your job posting
8. Open Category Dropdown
Choose the job category. For recruiting agents positions, select 'Real Estate'. You can also use this to hire for internal office positions like Office Manager or Administrative roles
9. Open the Experience dropdown
Specify the experience required, from Entry Level to Executive
10. Location
Enter the Country, State, City, and Zip Code where this job position is located
11. Select Salary Start Field
Click Starts From to set the starting salary amount.
12. Enter Maximum Salary (optional)
You can optionally enter the maximum salary amount
13. Open Payment Type Dropdown
Click Select Payment Type Dropdown to choose how the salary is paid.
14. Open Currency Selection dropdown
Click Select Currency to specify the currency for the salary.
15. Open the owner dropdown
Open the owner Dropdown to assign an owner to the job, This defaults to you but can be changed to any admin or staff member.
16. Save Job Details
Once you've filled out all required fields marked with an asterisk, click Save & Continue to move to the next step.
17. Enter Job Description (1)
Now you are in the Job Description section.
18. Open AI Assist Feature
You can use our rich text editor or use the AI Assist feature to help you create compelling content.
19. Enter Detailed Message Description
Enter a detailed description that includes the role's responsibilities, required qualifications, benefits, and what makes your opportunity unique.
20. Save and Proceed
When you're satisfied with your description, click 'Save and Continue' to move to the Application Form..
21. Enable Optional Feature
The Application Form is where you control what information you collect from applicants.
22. Personal Information:
In the Personal information and Details - Name and Email address are set as required always, but each other options are configurable to your needs
23. License Status:
Configure whether you need candidates to indicate if they're currently licensed or interested in becoming licensed
24. Consent Checkbox
You will also notice a consent checkbox at the bottom of the application form that says 'I agree to receive marketing messages from [Your Company Name]...' This is required to be included on all job applications to comply with telecommunications regulations. The good news is it is optional for candidates. They can apply with or without checking this box, so it will not prevent anyone from submitting their application.
25. Save Application Form Settings
Once you've configured your application form, click Save & Continue to move to the final step - Promotion.
26. Promotion Page
You're now on the Promotion page - the final step! Before clicking activate, your job is still in Draft status, which means it's not yet visible to the public.
27. Preview Job Posting
At any time, you can click the Preview link in the top right of the Application Form or Promotion page to see exactly how your application form will look to candidates. you can share the preview link with your team members who have Brokerkit access to review the job posting before it goes live.
28. View Job Application Form
If your admin has set up your team logo in Account Settings, that logo will appear at the top of the application form. If not, your team name will be displayed instead.
29. Activate Job Posting
To activate your job and get your shareable public link, click the 'Activate' button.
30. Copy Job Posting Link
Perfect! Your job is now active, and you will see your unique Job Shortlink appear on this page. "Click 'Copy to Clipboard' to copy this link. You can now share this link on:
- Job boards like Indeed or ZipRecruiter
- Your company website
- Social media posts
- Email campaigns
- Anywhere else you want to attract candidates"
31. Navigate Back
Click Back to return to your Jobs Page.
32. Job Edition and deletion
You can edit a job by clicking here, you can change any detail you want. You can delete a job by clicking in the trash can icon, deleting the job does not mean it will delete the candidates.
33. Candidate Pipeline
To view applicants for a specific job, click on the job name, candidate count or click view job.
34. Bulk Actions for Candidates
When you select one or more candidates, you'll see the familiar bulk actions you use throughout Brokerkit plus two new ones specifically for Jobs
35. New Bulk Actions For Jobs
Change Job - Move candidates to a different job posting if they'd be a better fit for another location or role.
36. New Bulk Actions For Jobs
Remove from Job - removes a candidate from this specific job without deleting their contact profile. Note: Remove from Job keeps the contact in your system while just removing them from this particular job.
37. Select User Candidate
Click on a candidate, to view their contact profile
38. Resume/Document
you can see the resume in the resume tab. Or both resume and cover letter of the candidate in the documents tab.
39. Jobs in the Contact Profile
Scroll down to the Jobs section in the right sidebar to see all the jobs they have applied for.
40. Click your profile icon
To make sure you never miss a new candidate, let's set up your notifications. Click on your profile icon
41. Open User Settings
go to User Settings
42. Access Notifications Tab
then select Notifications.
43. Jobs notification Section
You'll see a new section called Jobs with a New Candidate notification option.
44. Email notifications
Here you can choose to receive alerts via Email, Bell or Both

Click Receive alerts on to choose fromfor All Jobs or just My Jobs —the ones you created or assigned to you.
46. Update Notification Preferences
Click Update Notifications to save your changes and activate alerts.
